Buying, selling, and trading on Foyl

How does selling on Foyl work?

U.S. collectors can list Pokémon cards and sealed products at a price they choose. Add the exact product and condition, photos of the actual item, and a shipping option. Foyl charges no selling fee. Card processing is deducted from the seller’s proceeds when an order is paid.

Sale listings need payment onboarding before they go live. Buyers can purchase an active listing or make an offer where the seller allows it. See the fee details.

What does a buyer pay?

A Free buyer pays the item price, a marketplace fee of 5% of the item subtotal + $1 per order, shipping, and any applicable sales tax. Member and Vendor buyers get 50% off the marketplace fee, up to $2 off per order. Checkout shows the full total before payment.

How do Pokémon card trades work?

Collectors can put cards in a public Trade Binder, propose a trade, and agree on the items on both sides before accepting. Foyl charges no trade fee. For shipped trades, each collector pays their own shipping. Local trades include meetup safety steps.

How can I tell what condition my card is?

Take the card out of its sleeve and check the front and back in good light. Look closely at the corners, edges, surface, and any bends. Choose the condition that describes the whole card, including its worst visible flaw.

  • Near Mint (NM): Nearly unplayed, with only minimal wear.
  • Lightly Played (LP): A few minor marks, scuffs, or edge wear.
  • Moderately Played (MP): Noticeable wear, such as several scratches or whitening.
  • Heavily Played (HP): A lot of wear, but the card is still intact.
  • Damaged (DMG): Serious damage, such as tears, splitting, or water damage.

If you are between two conditions, choose the lower one. Show the actual front and back in your listing, plus close-ups of any flaws. A scan suggestion is only a starting point; you choose the final condition. For more examples, see the TCGplayer card condition guide.

What happens if my package is lost?

Check the tracking on your order first. If it says delivered, check the delivery spot and address. If tracking has stopped or the package still is not there, open the order and choose Report missing package. Tell us what you checked. Do not confirm that the order arrived.

A report puts the seller payout on hold while support reviews the tracking, carrier updates, and order details. Support can resume the order if delivery is confirmed or refund it if the shipment is confirmed lost. Stamped envelopes have no tracking, so include any details you have about when the seller shipped it.
